Understanding Question Types in MyAbseil Forms<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

MyAbseil allows administrators to build custom digital forms by adding different types of questions. Each question type serves a different purpose depending on the type of information you want technicians to provide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This guide explains all available question types<\/strong>, how to add them to a form<\/strong>, how to assign them to sections (headers)<\/strong>, and how to reorder questions using drag & drop<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Question Configuration Fields<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

When creating a new question, the following fields are available:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Input Type<\/strong>
    Select the type of response the user will provide.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Question Text<\/strong>
    The question or instruction displayed to the technician.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Help Text<\/strong>
    Optional supporting guidance to help the user understand what information is required.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Mandatory<\/strong>
    When enabled, the question must be completed before the form can be submitted.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Parent<\/strong>
    Allows you to assign the question to a specific Header (section)<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Save<\/strong>
    Adds the question to the form.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Cancel<\/strong>
    Closes the editor without saving.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
